Mecaware produces recycled strategic metals (lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese) from battery waste.
Thanks to our innovative effluent-free process, notably sulfate-free, we limit our impact on the environment and locate our plant as close as possible to the deposits, in situ for Gigafactories.
Our entire team shares a common vision: to transform the battery sector and make the circular economy a reality.
Join us in building a more sustainable and responsible European low-carbon battery industry.
As a member of our Industrial Design Office, your responsibilities will include :
Design, write and update technical specifications for lithium-ion battery recycling processes, integrating safety, performance and environmental requirements.
Participate in the development of our safe dismantling processes, the evaluation of treatment technologies and the qualification of industrial equipment.
On a daily basis, you will be required to :
Understanding batteries and their challenges :
Identify technical requirements for batteries: types of chemistry, packaging, aging modes.
Analyze internal (R&D, safety, quality) and regulatory (REACH, ISO, etc.) requirements.
Carry out feasibility studies and benchmarks on dismantling and separation technologies.
Drawing up specifications:
Detail functional and technical specifications for disassembly, material separation and component treatment processes.
Integrate industrial safety standards and feedback into technical documents.
Monitor and qualify technologies and suppliers:
Evaluate technology partners according to their battery expertise.
Participate in audits, technical tests and compliance checks on battery processing facilities.
Monitor projects, ensuring rigorous traceability of technical data and exchanges.
Manage qualification tests:
Define test scenarios, taking into account the risks associated with batteries (thermal, chemical, electrical).
Coordinate equipment tests, analyze results, propose corrective actions.
Contribute to production launch decisions.
